    Duotone - En La Playa

During the previous 2 weeks we showed you separate videos presenting individuals from today's Duotone short film ”En La Playa”  – today, at last, Duotone gave us the whole thing. Aaron Hadlow, Craig Cunningham, Francesca Bagnoli, Stefan Spiessberger and Noe Font are inviting us for a journey to Puerto Rico.

The crew put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the Vegas shoot in Puerto Rico, plus they got lucky with conditions and were able to cruise to spots all over the island.  Surely was a NO DAYS OFF type trip. This meant a lot long days, short nights and early mornings but when you’re passionate about what you’re doing it really doesn’t matter.

Time flew and in the end we cooked up something called La Buena Vida. One thing that was apparent though after the video dropped and that there must have been stacks and stacks of leftover footage and photos.  Too much footage to jam into a 5 minute episode… So we went through the hard drives and cherry picked the leftovers. Who doesn’t love leftovers? We hope you enjoyed the 5 part series entitled En La Playa... here is the full video with bonus sections!

Watch the 2020 DICE in action whilst we talk you through every update, performance feature and overall design that creates a versatile all-round kite

“I froth on doing extreme big airs, and with the new Dice I can boost higher and pull off more aggressive megaloops than ever before, it’s so sick!”
      Reno Romeu
Freestyle, waves and big air, the Dice does it all and can handle anything you can throw at it.
Ralf Grösel brought the first Dice to market with Tom Court who wanted a wakestyle/freeride kite with flavour. Matchu Lopes looked for a top performer for wave riding with stability and pop for strapless freestyle. With the Red Bull King of the Air and the Megaloop challenge captivating riders like Lasse Walker, the 2020 Dice is the intuitive, 3-strut, extreme performer, pushed and developed to perfection with show stopping megaloop potential.
      What´s new
New, lighter Trailing Edge wave patch for reduced flutter and TE flutter marks No bridle-pulley for an ultra-compact and precise canopy structure Improved bar feedback at the top of the windrange Maximised jumping performance and hang time due to optimised profile and TE cone adjustment
Behind The Design of the 2020 DICE - Ralf Grösel

For the first time ever, I removed the pulley within the kite bridles. This small change has a big impact on handling and in-flight characteristics. The biggest benefit is the more compact Leading Edge frame which can carry more energy during the take-off sequence resulting in much higher jumps.
The boldest Team riders share why the 2020 Dice continues to deliver

“The 2020 Duotone Dice is a machine! Through the new refinements it absolutely excels in performance when I’m doing Extreme Big Air. But, it also still has the overall feel and smooth handling the Dice has become famous for. This year the kite has a much more direct response, a super crisp feel and is way faster, which means heaps more fun and longer jumps!“
      Lasse Walker
      2020 DICE in a Nutshell

Inspired by the Red Bull King of the Air and team rider Lasse Walker, the DICE has been equipped with a fixed bridle system to unleash the most radical performance we have ever seen on a bridled C-Kite. Accurate and responsive, it’s the fine tuned favourite no matter the conditions.
