Welcome to Kitezone.com, a website which (hopefully) will inhabit your browser for a long time.
There are many places on the internet where you can meet and interact with people who partake in kite sports. A daily surfing through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, a cluster of other less known websites, along with news sites and forums, is nothing foreign to a kitesurfer who wants to know what is happening within the sport. Unfortunately, on most of these sites you will not even find such basic information as how to go about beginning your own kitesurfing adventure, how to start your kite safely, or information about good swimming spots, etc.
A couple years ago I had an idea to bring all this information together in one space, and create a healthy environment for the kitesurfing community to exchange information, have discussions, post listings, share files, organize events - create a place where articles and news about the kitesurfing community will be published.
Creating this service took about 6 months. Of course this is not all that will be offered and there is still much work to be done. With each subsequent month we will be adding articles, files, and also improving the website’s core functions, which will transform this page into a real kiteboarding and kite sport portal.
On kitezone, even as of today, we have a growing forum, video and image gallery, event calendar, and a chat. We invite you to create a profile and start posting on the forum. We believe in this, together we can inject life into kitezone.com and begin to unite a kitesurfing community which today is severely scattered.
For now we welcome you all and invite you to join us in co-creating kitezone.com.
